#JMKSpace: Directing a one-person show with Rachel Bagshaw

This workshop, led by Rachel Bagshaw, will explore the process of directing a one-person show. The session will give an insight into Rachel’s experience of directing The Shape Of Pain and Augmented, and will include space for discussion around supporting writers and performers making autobiographical work.

The session will take place 6.30 – 8.00pm on Thursday 4th March on Zoom.

 

This free #JMKSpace event is open to all and there are 40 places available. To apply to take part please complete the form at the bottom of this page no later than 5pm on Tuesday 2nd March.

Rachel Bagshaw is a stage director, currently Associate Director at the Unicorn Theatre. Work includes The Shape of the Pain, Augmented, Midnight Movie, The Bee in Me and Resonance at the Still Point of Change. During 2020 she made several digital projects including Grimm Tales for the Unicorn and Where I go When I can’t be Where I am for the BBC Culture in Quarantine season. She is also an Associate Artist at Wilton’s, on the board of CPT and an associate director for RADA’s Widening Participation programme.
